I have to admit, I wasn't sure about a gypsy mermaid, but the wonderful lady who commissioned her must be a genius! She wanted her patterned after Disney's Esmerelda with dark skin, voluptuous curves, black hair and bright scarlet orange colors for her mermaid tail.

she's Lovely, I can see Esmeralda in her face.
Thank you Marisa, this one co operated with me. That's not always the case, so I was very pleased with how she came out, especially with her skin tone.
She is exquisite Judy!
I love her dark hair and the colors are beautiful..
Have a wonderful Sunday

Thank you Penny, her new owner loves her, so I'm happy. You have a great Sunday too dear lady!

When I mentioned in an earlier post about Esmerelda the Mermaid, that "this one co operated with me" I was referring to the mermaid, not the customer who commissioned her. I've been blessed with exceptional and extremely easy to work with collectors.

I forgot to comment on this...I LOVE YOU JUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Esmeralda is a most unusual mermaid. She dances as well as she swims ;)
Thanks Michelle, I think Esmeralda is one of my favorites. Her skin color was perfect and went so well with the bright scarlet and orange.
